Stokes Clapper Valve, Stainless Steel is a type of check valve (AKA clack valve) which is hinged on one side that allows fluid to flow in only one direction. It is used to prevent backflow of water from one hose to another. It is used to keep water out and to divide wet pipes from dry pipes. Pressurized air inside the dry sprinkler system pushes against the clapper, keeping it closed and holding back the water.
